Philadelphia !

Hi guys,

After having booked our hotels for Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Miami, we left our lovely apartment in Brooklyn. We couldn't meet Lloyd, but we left our keys at his shop. That's weird, Lloyd doesn't have our name or anything else. Anyway, on the road again.

The road unexpectedly passed by a Burger King. The Whooper is just A-MA-ZING.

We arrived at Philadelphia just two hours after leaving NY. The city is beautiful. We spent the afternoon in the old centertown, as usual. In Philadelphia was signed the Independence Declaration, and the citizens look very proud of that. We went to the Independence Visitor Center to get a free ticket to visit the Independence Hall (where the Declaration was signed). My bag was checked by the security before we could enter. A woman told us everything we had to know about this time, but we didn't understand everything. Interesting anyway. We saw the Liberty Bell (my bag was checked again by the security before we could enter) , which is really impressive, even if it's cracked.
Then we walked to Penn's Landing, a wonderful dock on the river, and then came back to the Visitor Center to see a short movie about - guess what - the Independence.

Tonight we are in a hotel just near Phila. Tomorrow we will go again to the city to see some museums, and maybe go to the place where Rocky climbs the stairs. Then we will drive (carefully) to Washington D.C..

Be well !

Coucou,

In english, now !!! Funny !
I understood nearly everything.
It's easier to understand than to write...
Whose bag was it ? Matthew's ?
Hard luck ! (I have my dictionary to help me).
Thank you very much, again, for your movies and photographs.
The movie with penguins reminded "Happy feet" to me.

Have a very nice day.
Love from Maman, Nicole
